Doesn't work best with cassette player adapters

I had an audio cassette adapter that had its cable cut in the door so I decided to replace it. This one doesn't even work. The player simply throws it out in a loop. I bought the same brand as before (not this product) and it works fine so I know it's not a problem with my cassette player. Just spend the extra $4 for a working product.
