Review on Signature Design Ashley T736 3 Grayish Furniture by Joyce Wright

When I first received this table and my son put it together with no problem, I was thrilled. I was even glad that the top wasn't made of wood, but some kind of composite material that, in my opinion, couldn't be damaged by glasses or water stains. Now, less than 2 months later, the tan finish on the upper is peeling off, leaving a translucent white material. This table is not in a high traffic area and we do not emphasize it in any way. He's usually holding a lamp, some magazines, and maybe a TV remote, so that shouldn't happen. How can I return it if it is already assembled and we no longer have the box?
