I've bought children's clothing from Old Navy, Target, Wal-Mart, and The Children's Place.

I've been eyeing Spotted Zebra for a while fearing it would be just another brand to disappoint us, but the Try Before You Buy option was really helpful and I'm not just getting the first sets I order tried AND BUYED, I keep coming back for more! The price is affordable and my two kids have grown like crazy, the fabric hasn't shrunk, it covers their entire torso, and the size M fits my kids who wear a size 8, and all the 8 brands above are too small. I believe this is the stuff, even if they get another growth spurt they STILL fit! Last but not least, the different prints are so damn cute!
