Good all-round training shoe for plyometrics, agility and training.

This review is for the Grit, which has a more durable upper construction than the regular Nano X1, but is just as comfortable and breathable. I have wide feet so I went up a half size and they fit snug like comfy socks but with perfect support and stability for me. The grained upper is breathable yet secure so sealing isn't an issue, but I think with more normal feet there will be room in the toes to splay when lifting or vigorously moving. They hardly needed breaking in to get the right fit (note the aggressive heel lock (but this is very useful for burpees and push ups so the shoes don't slip, just put on socks that cover your heels and you'll get it). great support for stability, balance and cushioning when doing BeachBody P90x, P90x3, Insanity, T25 and Body Beast workouts with weights, not for jumping or faster movements.These shoes are snug but still give my toes enough Space I would say the shoes are good for wider feet but if they were less wide I might fall it's on the verge of being too small Previous models were a bit wider which was fine but for me they do what I need They are great for HIIT workouts but I still prefer the Nano 9 for heavier work as the outsole seems better suited for that Pros: Comfortable for wider feet, vi el toe freedom, stable sole and good running shoe cushioning. Suitable for plyometrics, flexibility, burpees, weightlifting, lunges and stability training. It's more versatile for all types of exercises compared to the previous CrossFit-approved X9 and X models because the soles have a little more bounce. , the tongue is very thin, the laces are longer than necessary and there is no other place to store them than tucking them into the sides of the shoe. Not for a hard day at the gym as the soles are a little soft under heavy weights (only noticed if you've had previous models). I'm sure this will work for most, but I still use the Nano 9 for PR on leg day or heavier weights. In addition, these shoes are not real running shoes, but only for short distances. They're 100% better than the X9 and X, which are difficult to drive a few hundred meters, but they're not quite designed for that. This is because the style of the shoe tries to be suitable for all types of training, but the outsole becomes less springy and more durable for stability when climbing. Overall, I recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile training shoe. It's really hard to find wider training shoes these days. So if you're like me and looking, it's worth a try.
