Not sure why this happened.

I've had the Diamond One for about 4 months now. I somehow managed to pinch my tongue with it, so I replaced it for a few days. I kept getting the taste of metal and wondered why. My tongue started to feel better after about 2 days so I switched back to my favorite. When I took it out, to my surprise, it was corroded. I'm not sure if others are the same and it was definitely unexpected because a diamond has never given me this problem.
