Disappointment with water filtration and softening
The membrane failed after two months. I know it was the membrane as I tried everything else before buying another one. which I got today and installed and everything works fine. Overall I like APEC products and their customer service was pretty good but they told me they wouldn't guarantee it since I didn't buy it from them. Which is confusing as I thought it didn't matter who I bought it from. If I buy a TV from Walmart, does the manufacturer not guarantee it? FYI I replaced all the pre-filters two months ago when I also bought a new membrane. I replaced everything at once so it wouldn't be faulty due to dead pre-filters.
