Review on Sunlite SL23PAR38 Energy Saving Medium by Amanda Harrell

I bought a pair of these lights for Christmas. Tired of paying for electricity to light up traditional 100 watt spotlights. At first I was very happy with these lamps. They just felt warm, not hot enough to fry an egg. So, in terms of efficiency, they were much better. The original brightness and color were also equal or even better than the old style lamps. The problem was that after 1-2 weeks of outdoor use, the beautiful blue color was almost gone. The wonderful blue turned to a very faint blue. So if you need "blue" outdoors for more than a few days, these lamps are not for you!
