I've been seeing this style of colanders for a few years now and REALLY wanted one but I couldn't justify the purchase as I read reviews from others who said they weren't always sturdy, especially on the wider shells. I decided this year to buy myself something I've wanted for a long time because life is short, right? I was excited to buy this product because the reviews seemed really good and it looked like it would fit my sink a little wider than usual. I've had it for a few months now, I don't use screens all that much but on my fifth use this week it kind of broke in half? Irreparable, so now it's just more plastic waste in an already overcrowded world of plastic waste. Too bad, I really wanted it to be "the one".
