I have Salomon, Merrell, North Face etc and Saucony matches them in terms of quality at an affordable price (especially this shoe, the I bought for $34). ). Also, they tend to be much more comfortable. If you haven't bought a pair of Saucony Trail running shoes yet, I encourage you to try them out, maybe you're a convert right now. I rarely give 5 stars because nothing is perfect, but if I could I would give them 4.75 stars. Too bad they are no longer produced. Personally, I really liked the black and yellow Raptor TR sneakers. While they weren't pretty, they were durable shoes with premium comfort. Probably the best trail shoe I've ever owned. The tread lasted forever and had excellent traction in a variety of conditions.
