4 stars until I see how they work. However, it is comfortable and fits true to size. I could go half a size up, but I was afraid it would be too much room unless I was wearing thick ski socks, which I hadn't planned on doing. My true shoe size with thin socks still had a spot where my big toe didn't touch the toe at all. I don't think athletic socks will not work for the show. In this case I would recommend going half a size up. These shoes are designed for comfort and functionality. If you're looking for "sexy", you're looking for paragraphs. I've heard that Clark's makes shoes the way they should be on the feet; unrelated (ooh!).
