My dad has an amazing collection of records from the 70's, rock and beyond, and to my knowledge he hasn't had a turntable in years. Since he's getting older, not married and doesn't have too many hobbies, I decided to get him this with the idea that listening to some of his old favorite songs would help clear his head (I also hope that one of them is the day he gives me his record collection). I went over to help him set up this setup and it was completely easy to set up right away. The player is plugged in and the speakers are connected to the player. From there you can adjust the RPM etc. My dad told me we had to put on a Jethro Tull to test this thing. While the video I recorded doesn't quite capture the sound, it's fair to say that the speakers sound great and the player works great. The vintage look is cool too. All in all, this thing offers a lot of value for only $200. The functionality is simple and sounds great. Whether you're trying to make friends with vinyl or you're a hardcore fan like my dad, this album definitely comes highly recommended!
