My son-in-law installed without any problems. Don't shake. Well built. Love seeded glass and "candlelights". However, I deduct two stars for the big problem. I think changing the direction of the fan blades for summer and winter is an important part of a ceiling fan and really impractical for this model. The switch is inside the globe (also very difficult to see). To get to it I had to remove the heavy glass ball, which certainly requires two people as you have to hold the heavy glass, screw it on and off, thread chains through the holes, put the ball back on the center pole, etc. Of course you do it on the stairs. If I hadn't been so stubborn and also tall for a woman (5ft 10in), I would never have made it unaided. Or I would have to hire someone to do it! Why it wouldn't be outside like every other fan I've seen is a mystery. It's a great fan, but that would be a deal breaker for me knowing how heavy it would be.
