I was looking for a WiFi adapter for an old laptop, which only supported the 8022022G standard. I bought, installed firewood from the manufacturer's website (note that I have several versions v.4) and it all worked. On the very first day, the whistle lost connection, a "cold" restart of the whistle helped. Ten minutes later, the whistle lost connection again - which made me think about returning the device. But the third case of "falling off" explained the reason for what happened - the whistle fell off when the laptop was running on battery power, when working on a network of problems. Apparently the whistle does not like low voltage on the port. Therefore, if you have problems with this device when connected via an extension cable, try plugging it directly into the port and see what happens. Good luck.
