Review on Optimal Digestion Adult Cat Food by Royal Canin by Kelly Ponder

I have been feeding my cats Royal Canin for many years (generations of cats). It was my (and her) favorite meal. Until that last batch. When I first opened the package it was fine. Then it came down to room temperature. and got wet. Upon closer inspection, it is saturated with yellowish oil. I contacted Revain and they immediately sent me a replacement bag. Unfortunately the new bag was from the same batch and the food took on the same oily sheen once it reached room temperature. Of course it can be absolutely safe. new formulation. but with all the safety issues emerging months AFTER multiple deaths. I do not want to jeopardize the health or safety of my children. To be on the safe side, I ended up at Royal Canin. I was hoping to get my money back but looks like I'm going to lose my $26. Ouch. [Edited: I contacted Revain Support to let them know of my concerns about this batch of product and they kindly refunded my purchase price. That's why I keep coming back to Revain. I will now contact Royal Canin with my concerns.]
