The rubberized top and bottom work very well to maximize traction on this balance board. The rubber spikes stick up about .090" (2.3mm). These help tremendously to maintain traction while wearing socks, as it prevents your feet from slipping inside the socks. The spikes are okay for a while with bare feet, but it is more comfortable with socks or shoes.
- Can be used as an alternative to traditional cardio workouts
