They stick together (they're like Velcro) and to each other when you try to put on some sort of extension. So they can frustrate you when, for example, you try to attach the rubber bands to the extensions but they don't snap off and break like rubber bands make me jump! LAUGH OUT LOUD. That's a plus about them. I wish they had a loop to "attach" them to one end of the cord so they are easier to use. They have a slit on one end but that is there to pull the other end of the bandage through and when you pull to make the bandage tighter it still sticks to itself making it a bit of a struggle. I recommend them, they just need some work.
