Maybe I didn't read the fine print well enough, but I was surprised at how huge it is. I suspect the "industrial" aspect of this design means it's designed to hang from 12-foot ceilings. The lowest hanging of the pendants (they are not the same) is 4 feet from the socket to the ground, and that doesn't include the shade or bulb! If you want to make it shorter you can wrap it, but the rope is quite thick so give yourself plenty of space and a plan. The cable is just over 11 feet from the first T-connector to the plug, so it's pretty bulky too. In the right place this could be great and all 3 hangers worked fine but would be better if you have a lot of space and want to show off a very mediocre brown rope.
