Missing features (read before buying)

I've been using the pico projector for three (3) years and just before the next replacement it finally took a nap. My setup was perfect; a center tripod for support, a Bluetooth speaker (JBL Charge) with a transmitter for audio, a 26100 (anker) power adapter for power, and an iCODIS G1 mobile pico projector for image. I was able to watch videos on a remote island for up to 10 hours without a power source. After losing my current pico projector I decided to look for a temporary replacement, while waiting to build and ship my Phillips PicoMax I stumbled across this Kodak Luma 150. The Luma 150 had all the makings of being a great upgrade from my previous G1. which was missing some features but has been a reliable device for the past three (3) years. I was thrilled to see that just like my G1, this device charges via micro-USB, a big plus for longer viewing times, wireless connectivity for my laptop and phone, HDMI input, as well as USB and microSD. I was even happier with the keystone correction, even if it was only vertical, a notch higher than the G1. It lost points due to the lack of a remote control, but I decided this was temporary and not really necessary, although it would make navigating the SD card easier. Now I have received my device and can work with it. I have some insight to help any potential buyer and am open to any information to change my experience. The device has solid construction and large portable size. I will highlight my positive aspects and then talk about my negative ones. Good focus wheel smooth yet firm to keep focus where you want it and can be adjusted down to pitch. touch buttons; good response times, although you have to press the middle button to activate the controls. tripod mount; ideally located in the center. Picture quality; good brightness (best in low light), good image quality (note the native 480 resolution). USB/MicroSD; Works great, supports my video library (avi) but only supports FAT32 (32GB or less). keystone correction BadVertical; missing, this feature does not appear to be installed on the unit I received, but when you view information about this product on the Kodak website, this feature is not highlighted. I contacted Kodak support and was told that this should happen automatically within a few seconds, but they couldn't tell me what angle correction is for this unit, leading me to believe it's not available in the Luma 150 menu is. When you start the device, you'll be greeted with a menu offering your inputs, WiFi, video, picture and HDMI. This unit does not have an adjustment menu for video (brightness, contrast, etc.), audio (stereo, level control, etc.) and other functions. volume control; (mild annoyance) The volume is on a scale from 0 to 100, which is great, however it increases in increments of 10 so you only get 10 levels of volume. I think it's sufficient but why not just have a scale from 0 to 10, that makes sense. Speaker; (in my opinion it doesn't matter, but I'm still checking) the built-in speaker is barely loud (at 80) or wheezes (at 90+). I'm not sure why pico manufacturers even bother with a speaker that just takes up space and only works when you hold it close to your ear. I have found a bluetooth speaker with a transmitter or one that connects best and is essential. HDMI; (Maybe it was just my experience) I was using my Roku with my Pico projector and when I connected it to my Luma 150, my Roku stick showed no image and got warm outside of the safe range. I then tried to connect my DVD player, this time with no sound (probably incompatible code between each device). Finally, I will be returning this unit and waiting three to four weeks to get my PicoMax without the pocket projector. This device has a good purpose and someone other than me could use that purpose, but the buyer should beware that the advertising of the automatic vertical keystone correction is false.
