Solid barebones mechanical keyboard for beginners

If you're looking for a barebones mechanical keyboard for beginners with lots of great features, this is a solid option. It features RGB, hot-swappable switches, and USB-C. Despite what others say in their reviews, you can break it down into its component parts. The plate and the board can be separated, you just need to remove it from the case first. To do this you will need to remove all the screws including the ones for the spacer and then starting at the corners next to the spacer you will need to pry it out by working back and forth until the board comes out. In fact, it's pretty well stuffed, so take your time the first time around. Some other first impressions are that it's pretty light compared to some other boards I've tried. With switches, caps and some foam, the board weighs approximately 1lb 5oz. The board doesn't come with a foam pad, but you can add one if you want to muffle the sound. Finally there are no feet to adjust the angle so I hope you are happy with the default angle which is lower than some other boards I have tried like the Glorious boards. Pros: + Hot-swappable switch + RGB+ backlight Compatible with 5-pin USB-C+ switch Cons: - Software - Poor lubrication of the stabilizers - No foam - No height adjustment
