These shoes are so versatile. We used to be croc fans but I noticed my son tripped and fell in croc shoes due to the shape of the insole so we gave them a try. He's a very athletic toddler and these shoes don't slow him down. Light and flexible, they allow him to run, jump, climb, etc. Thanks to the Velcro, they are really easy to put on. My son takes off his shoes and runs across the grass and sand, then puts his shoes back on and messes up the insides, but I can just throw these shoes in the laundry and they're like new. We have a second pair.
