Review on Explore Comfortably with Merrell Jungle Moc Wide Width Shoes by Mark Williams

There has been much questioning and confusion as to why a color that appears dark brown is called "black slate". In the question and answer, the seller replied that the color is correct as shown, although it says it is black slate. Mine arrived today and I can confirm that it is fine. What is listed as black slate both in the description and on the shoe box is actually dark brown leather (see my photo). Why is this a question for Merrell? Anyway, I had Merrell hiking shoes and wanted something that was just as comfortable and supportive that could lean a little more into casual wear for an upcoming trip through several cities in Europe. I don't want to take extra shoes and they should fit. The retail price is great too.
