I love it but. best in my review

I really like my little fountain but there are a few things that a potential buyer should know about.I have mine in a fairly shallow ceramic birdbath. I have had it several months. The fountain works great as long as I give it sun and water. The problem is that on a very sunny, hot day the water might need to be added several times because it evaporates quickly as the ceramic heats. The movement of the water in the air doesn't help this.On a windy day, if the fountain is high (the height varies with the amount of sun and water) the wind pushes the water in the air over the side and empties the bowl fairly quickly. My birdbath gets birds. They leave things in the water that can clog the sucking power of the fountain. It is easy to clean and get going again. Sometimes the stabilizers come off but they are easy to reattach. It wouldn't hurt to glue them in place as they might get lost in deep water.So.considering everything. I would recommend putting it somewhere that gets good morning sun (to activate the solar power) but maybe not hot afternoon sun, in a pool that is fairly deep and wide.I'm not sorry I bought it. It just needs some attention to keep it going properly in my situation.

Pros
  • β€ŽNo
Cons
  • The fountain may require additional equipment to be installed, which can increase the cost.
