WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS SCOOTER

These scooters are total garbage, buyer beware.I saw some of the negative reviews but ended up purchasing anyway as it met with some of the things we were looking for in a kids scooter. Now, just 10 rides under our belt and 4 months later, the unit suddenly stopped working when we took it out with bikes and it was impossible to even ride as a normal scooter. I have not even complained about the kickstand breaking off, all of the gadgets like LCD panel, brake, etc moving around on the steering column and the claims about the speed are totally off - my child who weighs 55 lbs cant get it to go over 11 mph in the fastest mode and it left him disappointed. Now, the LCD went black, we are out of "manufacturer's warranty" and for whatever reason I can't figure out, this company has a stellar record with the BBB and carries an A+ rating which I find hard to believe. Going to log my complaint there next.No warranty is noted on the ebay product page but it is 90 days and involves fees and cumbersome re packaging and leaves it open for them to claim the problem is not covered post shipping even if you fall within it. I would assume all their products are garbage if they can sleep at night knowing how poorly this is made and their business model must not be built on repeat business. One bright spot was the ebay rep who handled our complaint was amazing and helped us get resolution outside the normal process.
