Review on Styling with Elegance: Cala Wet-n-Dry Metallic Rose Gold Hair Brush by Raquel Lopez

Softer and higher quality than the Wet Brush brand!

I bought a brush from this brand many years ago. Then I lost them, thinking it was a wet brush and bought wet brushes for several years. I noticed a difference in quality right away, but thought Wet Brush changed something in their manufacturing process to save money and chalked it up as a sign of the times. A few years later I found my original brush labeled Cala wet and dry in my travel bag. That's when I realized it wasn't a wet brush brand and after using a lost brush I again noticed a big difference. I bought this brush to match all of my rose gold accessories and still use the original brush I found. This brush is just as good as the original! My experience with the Wet Brush brand was that the design and metallic color if any would wear down with use, and the bristles weren't that soft and the little plastic balls ended up coming loose after regular use for a few months . . Also, the Wet Brush brand costs more. Basically, they seem to be made to be replaced after a few months of use. It's bad for your wallet or the environment. To date I have had no issues with the Cala Wet-n-Dry brand. That's why I recommend them to other brands. Now I use this brand and my head and hair say thank you!

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says
