This works as it should. However, make sure your trailer frame will fit the bolt. It would be more convenient if there was something in the kit to attach the bolt to the frame (drill a few small holes and attach a light strap). This would make it much easier to mount the wheel on the stud. Also, it takes a minute or two to twist the attachment straps down toward the wheel. I don't think there is a way here. for the price it's pretty good. If your trailer frame is oriented so that the lock is on top, you should buy a closed keyhole lock. In my caravan, the key of the padlock points straight up. This would be the perfect way to collect rain, dust and dirt to contaminate the lock, so cover it to be safe.
