With all the uncertainty of 2020, living in a town near the fault line, I felt rather unprepared for something serious. So I wanted to find a reasonably sturdy backpack that I could stash spare supplies in. I haven't tested the backpack's durability (because it will be in my closet most of the time) but it seems durable and offers plenty of space. It could hold 15-20 pounds of supplies or even more. Having MOLLE in the backpack is also useful if you need somewhere to store spare carabiners, a few pouches, etc. Overall it does what I need.
