Review on AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (YD1600BBAFBOX) - 65W Energy Efficiency by Micha Dbrowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Ryzen 5 1600 Bought in the OEM version for 9500. Given the promise of socket AM4 (AMD promises to continue to release new generations of processors for this socket, which will allow you not to spend money on replacing the motherboard when upgrading, *hello Intel!*) this processor is essentially a VERY interesting offer of 6 productive cores for real pennies. Most importantly, just compare its price with comparable performance stones from a competitor. and all questions will immediately disappear.

Pros
  • 6 cores, 12 threads, unlocked multiplier, not hot. what else do you need from a modern processor in the budget segment? When overclocked, I easily took 4 GHz at a voltage of 1.35 V, 3200 MHz memory at 16 timings. Works with ASROCK X370 KILLER SLI motherboard, RAM - two green dice OEM Samsung DDR4 2400 DIMM 8GB (PC4-19200) M378A1K43BB2-CRC. Cooling - A simple maintenance-free CBO with a single 120mm fan manages to keep the temperature below 65 degrees (OCCT runs).
Cons
  • The horror stories that went around about incompatibility with certain models of RAM and the possibility of overclocking it . I assembled the system when all manufacturers had a mat. boards have already released the necessary BIOS ates and fears have not materialized.
