The best thing about the DEWALT 20V MAX Bluetooth speaker was its connectivity. Setup was easy and it connected to my iPhone straight away. I mainly use it in our garage and usually play Pandora from my iPhone. I've also used it a few times in our garden. The sound is good, not outstanding, but good. It doesn't have as much bass as we'd like, but the sound is comfortable and loud enough. The radio range is also very good. I ran at least 100 feet without skipping. Most of the time I plugged it into the mains, but I worked several hours with a DeWalt 18v battery. After that, I checked the charging LED on the battery and it still shows that it's fully charged, so this device uses very little power. I charged my iPhone using the DeWalt USB port and it worked fine. very portable, doesn't weigh much and appears to be very durable. It doesn't look or sound like a high-end audiophile Bluetooth speaker that's going to impress your friends, but it's a great option if that's not important to you. If you don't mind thumping bass and just want to set up a speaker for your smartphone and listen, this is a great option. Recommended. 👍
