As with most paint/finish restoration or renewal projects, it rotates all about the PREPARATION. 80%, if not more, of the time it takes for this product to do its job properly is in finish prep. Spend time brushing, washing and cleaning your fins/grooves with an all-purpose cleaner (a simple 90% 1:1 isopropanol solution will do). Once prep is complete, apply Forever Black in a THIN layer and allow to dry. I applied a total of 3 layers with a brush of your choice. This product can and will work if you are patient. I would have posted pictures but I actually sold the car I put the molding on and the buyer was very happy after I told him the molding was painted with this product. The truck was 15 years old and the fairing looked brand new.
