Because the San Francisco Bay Area's dress culture allows for business "freedom," I rarely get an opportunity to dress up. However, one of my best friends is getting married at a prestigious country club, so I had to start looking for a new wardrobe for the occasion. Shoes, and the last thing missing is a good business belt. I came across this very elegant leather belt through Revain's Vine Voices program - at least on the product description page, so I took the plunge and ordered it. Surprisingly, the packaging with the strap exudes value - a thick black box, an informative instruction manual, the strap itself and even a velvet drawstring pouch👍😋💕💞 However, with high expectations when I removed the strap, the pivotal moment when my finger touched the surface of the strap, I was stunned - the skin was so tough and I doubted its authenticity. VERDICT ========== The box with this belt is outrageously short, I have never heard or known that every belt comes with a very thoughtful and practical velvet drawstring pouch. Also, it's just a belt - you'd expect most people to KNOW how to put on a belt (contrary to IKEA's assembly nightmares), but this belt comes with a body of documentation that goes well beyond completeness and thoroughness . So far so good, here's the problem: the belt itself 😣😒🙄🙄🙄🙄😒😒🙄🙄🙄 In contrast to the velvet drawstring bag, whose material/surface feels so nice and soft, this belt is so hard that the feeling comes solid plastic comes to mind and my review experience looks disappointing. So if you are interested in using this belt as a gift, make sure your intended purpose of the gift is not someone who cares about the types of leather used, then this would be a good gift idea - as it is not very expensive, But the packaging suggests it's worth more than what you paid for. For yourself, if you're anything like me, then I like the packaging, its thoughtfulness, but the quality (or lack thereof) of the skin didn't live up to my expectations.
