This T-Bevel embodies Japanese craftsmanship. It is well made. There are no more highlights at the edges, but they look almost sharp because the edges are square and clean. It's sleek and simple, but has weight. Dropping the blade onto the scale under its own weight is like closing scissors or a katana sheath. The knurled brass handle holds without problems. The scales are strong, and since the blade is completely covered by them when closed, this T-bevel has to withstand some stress without deforming. but why are you careless with such an instrument?
