So far so good

I bought this for my mother's apartment to solve her mega series situation. The apartment is old, there are only sockets with grounding in the kitchen and in the bathroom. I like the length as the outlets in her room are not where they are needed and I don't feel comfortable tying an extension cord to an extension cord (although we've basically done this in the 20 years that I've lived grew up, did). In general I would say so. Stripes are ok. I love that it's a surge protector (although there's no real way to test how well it works). However, it seems fragile and not as strong as other surge protectors I have. Most of their cables only need 2 pins and fit fine, but I tried to plug in a 3 pin connector and had a hard time fitting all but one of the ports. So ports seem to be pretty cheap in general. I haven't tried USB ports. Also, I ordered both the 6ft and 9ft versions and the 6ft version was unmarked. This leads me to believe that this is just cheap Chinese stuff that is probably sold under different brands. Not exactly a terrible thing, but something to keep in mind. I will probably return the 6ft version. If I find a better one I can return the 9ft. It's only a temporary fix until I help her clean up enough things in the apartment to ask the landlord to upgrade the outlets.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
