If it's being used for loose crumbs or small rocks then that's about all it can do.
Suction is poor unless you only use it for small rocks or dirt that won't stick to the carpet. It's completely wireless and has a handy size that you can easily charge from an outlet. I sent it back because I wanted something with a lot more power which is good for dog hair.
