I do not recommend. Don't cut through!

Was looking for an egg slicer without wires; you break. But this one doesn't cut the egg all the way through unless you hold the egg in your hand and push it through. I also hope slicing sweet cucumbers for salads will help. Not sharp enough for that. Might work on mushrooms, I'll have to check.
