I bought 5 keyboard cases to compare. Case Logi Focus was at the top. The Zagg Folio case took second place. The other 3 got 1 star for different reasons. (You can click my name to see all 5 reviews.) First, I'm going from an iPad 2 to an iPad 4. I also had a Logitech keyboard case. Between the two generations there are MANY improvements and one downside. See below for details if you are in the same transition. The biggest area where Zagg Logi outperformed was in the corner. I love the fact that Zagg can be from different angles. It can also be reclined further than the Logi. I liked it very much! The focus is much more vertical and almost 5-10 degrees more vertical than the iPad 2. I'm getting used to it quickly, but I think I liked the other option better. - Logi can be folded. I often use this option when playing games, talking on FaceTime, and readingβanytime I want to use the iPad upright. Zagg doesn't fold flat like the Logi, but I didn't find that a major issue. Because the Zagg allows the iPad to recline as much as possible, it can be used in an upright position. I didn't find the keyboard in the way. It surprises me! Both Zagg and Logi hold the iPad securely and protect it well, but Logi definitely has better padding around the corners and edges. This is one of the reasons why Logi won. I like that the Zagg keyboard is backlit. Logi doesn't have that. Both Zagg and Logi have a slight key curvature. These were the only two of the five keyboards to do so. The other three (which received 1 star each) were flat. The curvature makes typing much easier and faster. The Logi Focus keys have more curvature/cup shape and I like them a lot more. The spacebar on Zagg is great! It was the biggest gap of all, but Logi wasn't far behind. All three 1-star cases had very short gaps. The main reason Zagg lost is because in Zagg's case you can't tap the bottom of the screen. When I tested this keyboard, I was surprised at how problematic this can be! I guess I didn't realize how many times a message or command pops up there to be reached. The solution, of course, is that you can rotate the Zagg sideways (if you haven't locked the screen orientation) and get to the commands below. But it gets old very quickly! - I was also concerned about the broken hinge on the Zagg. It's in many reviews and I can see that it might be the questionable part of this case. Another point where Logi Zagg was ahead was that Logi has very good pads on the outer corners of the keyboard. to protect the screen. At Zagg they are very small. This pad is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT over Logitech's previous iPad sleeve! I actually broke my iPad 2's screen by closing it too tightly in an old case to force it to turn off. Another major improvement over the first generation of Logitech keyboard cases is that the older cases had a weak point. where is the on/off button This case looks better. The time will show.
