Review on πŸ”Œ Black Cord, Cable, and Accessories Case - Zero Grid Electronics Travel Organizer by Steven Wood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

but the layer below the top layer feels like cardboard that would deteriorate if hit.

Described as "compact and ultra-light". It actually weighs 8.8 ounces (not the 6.1 ounces the Revain website says) and is very stiff/bulky. "Made of water-repellent and waterproof fabric," I'm not sure. The top layer may be nylon, but the layer underneath is like cardboard that will be ruined if it gets wet (it's already warped). Worse, it adds a lot of weight and stiffness, which limits flexibility (and therefore takes up a lot of space - which limits how much fits in). Could have been a winner if it wasn't for the cardboard(?) backing for the two inner flaps designed to hold the cords. This layer is heavy and takes up the space needed for the cables themselves. Heavy and rigid - not the best option for travel containers.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long wait
