Installation was fairly easy. Although the little nut you loosen to adjust the camera is very easy to remove. and forever lost in the grass while you're on the stairs. IF you're not careful. And these nuts are so small that it is impossible to find a replacement. So you just use duct tape to hold one of your cameras. Unlike me. Aside from losing the nut on the little screw you use to adjust the camera, it all came together pretty easily in under an hour. I also downloaded the app and can now view the footage from anywhere, but I still can't figure out how to send notifications when motion is detected. If it works, I haven't figured it out yet. In my opinion, night vision works very well, if something is in pitch-dark surroundings, you can definitely see it. I wanted to hide the DVR and all the cables so nobody could steal the evidence. but the dvr gets very hot so i don't think it would be a good idea to cover it. Except for all the minor downsides while I'm really doing it. For the price unbeatable.
