Probably better for older kids.
The overall concept is great, but I have a problem. The battery part does not have the ability to hold the batteries in place. Therefore, the batteries fly out when the car is hit or dropped. To return them you have to disassemble the entire toy. It can be fun at first, but having to do it over and over again to get a few minutes of play is tiring. I'm just going to glue them on but there seems to be an easy fix to make them safer and as it's a child's toy I'm surprised they let it get away with it to begin with.
