This iron does a damn good job. Has good temperature control. For reference, the recommended temperature settings for your hair type are: 170°F - 260°F for very fine hair; 340° for fine hair; 400° for normal hair; 450°F for very thick or coarse hair. If you heat more than recommended for your hair type, you can damage your hair.
