I bought these for a number of reasons. 1) because my kids keep dropping their remotes. 2) because they lose their remotes and blame others for it 3) because they always seem to lose their remotes in dark places like under beds or behind other furniture. My kids drop their remotes all the time so luckily they fit snugly and securely around the remotes. 2 different colors are useful to distinguish two remote controls. That way, they can't accuse each other of stealing someone else's remote control. The only downside is that they don't glow in the dark.
