Be careful when taking off. Don't just unclip the leg extensions and drop them. I did this and two legs separated. Without my friend I would never have noticed the two pieces sticking out from under the legs and would not have been able to fix them. My friend and I spent 30 minutes figuring out how to put them together. I undo all the locks on both of my tripods and leave them unlocked at all times. This has never happened to them. Otherwise nice and fluid with pans and the like. It's also significantly lighter than the previous model, but still heavier than one of my tripods. Although my tripod is shorter. Overall a good monopod except it's falling apart.
