Thank you for exchanging the small bag for the medium one. The pumpkin looks so cute and the bag is handy. This frees my arms and shoulders and she can carry her stuff. There isn't much you don't like about the bag. Mesh upper keeps you cool. We let her run and play with her bag in the park and on the trail. The bag didn't move, we had a little in it and won't put much in it. Pumpkin is still a pup and as she grows up and her bones get stronger we will add more. Pumpkin is also a large breed, which didn't mean anything to me until she went through a growth spurt. She gained over 15 pounds and grew in height and length in just over a month. She now weighs over 40 pounds at 7 months. I would not recommend a small bag for large breed puppies unless you plan on getting another one soon. The small size was originally ideal for Pumpkin, but she outgrew it very quickly. But it all depends on how fast your pup is growing. Average height leaves room for growth, her neck is 17, chest is 25, girth is 21. Pumpkin is not fully stocked at this time, so the average strap is a little loose at the lowest setting, but front and back straps do a good job of stabilizing the bag so it doesn't move. The pumpkin loves mud like some dogs love water, but the mud easily wipes the bag clean. I like that it's lightweight and easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase.
