Great fabric basket! It's very heavy and very good quality - much better than I expected. It's deeper than many baskets, making it ideal for duvets/pillows. I keep actual bed pillows in my living room and office because we tend to lie on couches (and yes, fall asleep, LOL) and we need proper neck support, but there's nothing appealing about a pile of pillows piled in a corner . This basket is the perfect solution! I keep it in my study with two bed pillows so we can lounge on the couch if we want (I hide the pillows in the living room ottoman lol). It looks good, is strong enough to stand on its own, big enough to hold 2 standard bed pillows and my cozy little blanket, making sleeping a more organized pleasure. I haven't tried washing it, but it wipes clean with a damp cloth (my dog splashed some saliva on it while shaking his head and wiped it off well with plain water). Handles make it easy to move from room to room and compliment a variety of decor. I definitely recommend it. It is great for storage but also makes a good basket. At first I tried using it as a laundry basket as advertised, but it actually turned out to be too heavy (and frankly too pretty) to be used that way. However, it's a great storage option. The only *small* disappointment I had with it was that it was shipped flat and took a few days to regain its rounded shape. I stuffed a few pillows in (I mean I FULLY stuffed it) for about 48 hours and it helped.
