Great for many things in the sun! I have several and keep warm in a cotton t-shirt. However, there are great long-sleeved shirts for spring and autumn. I would buy a size larger than normal if you want it to be loose to allow for ventilation. EVERYONE will find that the sleeves are too long. I think that's written in a lot of the comments.
