Love them and use them ALWAYS. Cheap enough to use for stuff and not worry. I am a high school teacher and a 4/5 year old church teacher. I have small groups at school (special education) and the kids love matching definitions, symbols to traits etc, organizing things - mostly science and math, playing flashcard games on the magnetic board. They easily hold 3x5 cards and are easy to grab. The backs are easily removable. They hold standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper with 2 magnets in the top corners and pocket protectors with paper inside. The magnets are thin, so groups of things with magnets aren't a problem. I also use them a lot in church when telling stories. I usually have pictures and a magnetic board. Young children love hanging pictures as they are presented and moving the pieces around to tell the story. A couple of times the kids easily helped me remove the backings from the magnets. It helps all children to see everything and the details can be easily shifted. I also send the kids home fun things with magnets instead of safety pins etc. and feel a little safer.
