The jaws are too thick to fit between the steering box and the opener.
Very strong except for two turnbuckles tightening the levers. They stretch and are made of inferior metal. The jaws are too thick to fit between the steering box and connecting rod on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. I replaced the two turnbuckles with 8 degree calipers and was able to apply enough force to disengage the crank from the steering box.
