Review on 🎧 Avantree HT5009: High Volume Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Headphones for TV Watching with Long Range and No Audio Delay by David Gagnon

It makes noise. . . . .

I was actually hoping for something great, especially since the reviews are so good. I needed something to replace my Turtle Beach XP 500 headphones. However, the main feature of this product is the sound and the quality wasn't amazing. But before I criticize these headphones, I have to point out the good qualities of the Avantree headphones. They are very comfortable and adjustable. It is also nice that they are quite light. Since the headphones are already paired at the factory, setup is very quick. Very "plug and play". Additionally, the only good sonic aspect of these headphones is the lack of audio lag when Blue Tooth is connected. Unlike the Avantree headset, my Turtle Beach headphones reproduce Dolby Surround Sound, the sound that Avantree headphones reproduce is nowhere near the kind of surround sound, forget Dolby. I compared these headphones to my TV while watching an action movie and the audio was very muffled and lacked depth. It almost sounded like listening to a movie through a tin can. I went back and forth 4 times with optical connection to check the quality because I don't really like returns. I understand that my TBs are in the higher price bracket, but they're eight years old, so it's reasonable to expect them to have the same quality of technology as the current headphone system. I probably should have taken the reviews with a grain of salt too. Bottom line, spend more money on a better headset. The Avantree headset is good for average listening, don't expect fantastic sound.
