This is a great casual top that is perfect to wear with jeans or khakis. It is made of soft t-shirt material but is so much nicer looking than a typical t-shirt. The gathers all around the neckline not only dress this top up compared to a typical t-shirt, but also mean this top has a generous fit and drapes nicely. It looks slightly more gathered on the model but that is probably because I am not thin like her. If you want this top to fit extra drapey or maybe a tad longer, I recommend sizing up. I like the hemline that is cut slightly higher on the sides and slightly longer at the front and back -- I think this is much more flattering than a top that's cut straight across the bottom. The cuffs on this shirt look a little off; they look like the cuffs you'd see on a men's long-sleeved t-shirt. They are also very large and slide right over my hands. Instead of a cuff, I'd love to see the sleeves finished off with a narrow band (about 1/8 inch side) of fabric around them instead of these large rib knit cuffs. Another option would be to just hem the sleeves without adding cuffs.The fabric is a versatile medium weight. According to the listing, the fabric is 90% polyester and 10% spandex, but the tag in the shirt I received says it is 60% polyester, 35% rayon and 5% spandex. I am not sure which one is true. Rayon tends to feel slinky and this fabric is soft but not slinky, so it may be that there is no rayon in it, or maybe only 35% rayon is not enough for its slinky texture to shine through. There's no way of knowing which fabric content is correct. When I thought this shirt was polyester, I was planning to machine dry it, but since rayon tends to shrink, I have been hanging it dry because I do not want it to shrink (and maybe it has rayon in it, or maybe not).Overall this is a nice-looking casual top that is made of t-shirt material. It is as comfortable as your favorite t-shirt, but the gathered neckline gives it a dressier, prettier, more feminine silhouette.
