Good performance but beware of possible problems with Aura Sync

I like RGB and the speeds are as advertised. I have an ASUS TUF x570 Wifi motherboard with Aura Sync which should be compatible, but with Aura Sync enabled on the XPG S40G my speed drops by half. When I turn it off, everything reverts to the stated speeds. I have the latest firmware for XPG S40G and Aura Sync. I'm not sure who to point the finger at or where to start with support, but I can confirm that this issue only occurs when Aura Sync is set to show the light on my XPG S40G controls. This is unfortunate because I was hoping to use Aura Sync to control all the lights, but it's not working at the moment. I don't really want to install any software specifically for the XPG S40G because it's just another RGB program running in the background (too many RGB programs on my RAM, CPU cooler, XPG S40G, graphics card, case fan, etc.). Although I haven't tried the XPG S40G specific software to see if the problem occurs when it's powered on. I'll try that when I get home. I'm going to leave this review at 3 stars as one of the highlights when ordering over other options was the ability to use Aura Sync, otherwise I would have given this review 5 stars. I also don't have any heat issues with this drive and it sits right between my Ryzen 3800x processor and the Super Graphics 2070. Update: Resolving speed and aura sync issues: Make sure m2 is unchecked in the aura sync software. Install the XPG RGB software from the manufacturer's website. Restart your computer and return to the Aura Sync program. You should see a new Hard Drive/SSD option that you can enable that controls RGB lighting but will not cause any speed issues with the SSD.
