Review on ๐Ÿ“ Selkirk Sport SLK Latitude Pickleball Paddle: Designed in USA with Lightweight G4 Graphite Face and Polymer Rev-Core by Todd Hauff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not five stars. I am sorry.

I can't give this paddle five stars for only one reason, but it's a very important one. And that usually only applies to men, not women. First, what's good about paddling: a big sweet spot. Good performance. comfortable weight. Five stars for all of that. The reason it didn't get a five star rating is because it has the worst, cheapest crank/crank with old tech. The handle is short. It should be at least another 1/2 longer. Men can be embarrassed by the short length. The circumference is fine at 4 1/4 inches. The handle requires a larger knot (for lack of a better word) at the end of the handle. There really is nothing. This is an area you need to build up with the TournaGrip, but because the grip is so short to begin with, you end up losing some length. Nevertheless, I keep the paddle. Mainly because I've already returned the Gamma paddle as it wasn't approved for use in our PB club (no fiberglass faces) and I don't want to wait for a new one. That's a good paddle. A decent 21st century grip would have made it a great paddle.
